Through services provided by Paris Academic Rentals, many American University study abroad programs offer their students assistance in finding housing. Students are encouraged to work closely with Paris Academic Rentals in an effort to arrive at the best possible housing opportunity.

Paris Academic Rentals assists students in locating housing and serves as a facilitator in the search. Students are expected to enter into private contracts (leases) with individual landlords. Paris Academic Rentals does not assume legal liability for landlord’s debts to students. Likewise, Paris Academic Rentals does not assume legal liability for student’s debts to landlords. In the event of either occurrence, however, Paris Academic Rentals makes an effort to intervene in assisting the wronged party.

Paris Academic Rentals offers a variety of housing alternatives to match your budget and living preference: a room in a French household, studio, maid’s room (chambre de service) or apartment. We have put together a guide to help you select your residence.

The Housing Placement Process

To permit Paris Academic Rentals to find accommodations for you it is imperative that you complete the Housing Questionnaire Form that corresponds to your particular University program. You can find the appropriate questionnaire under the name of your University on the left-hand menu.
